Self Service Laundromat
No, we are a cash-less laundromat, just tap to pay with your debit card, credit card or phone and there are no surcharges. Alternatively, download the Speed Queen app and load money onto your account.
Yes, if you are using self-service, then bring your own detergent.
Use ½ cup of detergent in small washers and ¾ cup – 1 cup of detergent in medium and large washers. Read the signage on top of the washing machines to see exactly where your detergent goes. There is a vending machine selling laundry items which is card and coin operated.
Overloading gives poor washing results and longer drying time and can damage the machines. For optimal results, fill to the line on the door.
No Pet items, including pet beds and pet blankets.
No pillows or soft toys.
No foot wear including work boots and gumboots.
No dyeing clothes.
Please empty your pockets before washing or drying because some items can cause stains or tear your clothing and severely damage the machines.
Abandoned laundry will be stored briefly out the back or under the folding tables in the laundromat, before being donated. Express Laundromat is not liable for your items. Completed laundry can be removed by customers after 15 minutes of completed machine.
Express laundromat is a self- service laundromat and is not attended full time. Attendance is usually 4 -5 hours throughout the day. Contact via phone or email for questions.
There is a public toilet 1 minute walk away near the children's park.
Express Laundromat automatically opens at 5.00am and closes at 1am daily. The security alarm will beep indicating that you exit immediately. The lights turn off and the doors lock closed, allowing for exit but not entry. Anyone not exiting will trigger the sensors and activate the full alarm, Security and the owner are notified, prompting an immediate site visit. Police charges apply to any nuisance behaviour or damage to property. The premises are covered by CCTV and security patrols.
Express Laundromat has a private cark for 10 cars. It is for customer use only and tow away fees apply. Contact details for Ace Towing are on the signage and car retrieval is at car owners expense.
Express Laundromat is deep cleaned nightly and then several times throughout the day. Please clean up your mess and dispose of your rubbish in the bins provided. Do not litter inside or outside in the car park or on the street.
Open your phone settings and connect to Express free-wifi. There is a one-time sign in and it is limited to 1 hour, once a day.
Sells washing detergent, laundry bags, and dryer sheets. It also offers various chocolate bars, chips, Pokémon cards, and games. Payment is cash or card.
Is expected from customers using the laundromat. Police charges apply to any nuisance behaviour or damage to property. The premises are covered by CCTV and security patrols.
Wash, Dry and Fold Laundry Service
Place your order online and select in-store drop off (if using our secure laundry lockers) or pickup and delivery. The lockers are located at the front of the laundromat and have instructions. Select service, washing preferences and after payment will be taken via our secure online ordering system CleanCloud.
Alternatively you may phone and place your order, then transfer payment.
We have a minimum order of 6kg / $40 per WDF laundry service. 6 kgs is about 1 standard laundry basket. You can easily use your bathroom scales to weigh your laundry. Additional weight is $8/kg
Payments are handled securely thru our CleanCloud app which uses Stripe – a globally trusted gateway. Your credit card details are stored directly with them, safe guarded by bank level security.

Are based on the exact weight of your clean dry laundry. You can easily use bathroom scales to weigh your laundry. A standard basket is about 6kgs. Additional kilos are charged at $8 per kilo.
You can use a clean rubbish bag or any type of bag to put your dirty laundry in. Please do not send laundry baskets. We will bag your laundry in clean plastic bags.
We use high quality products that are gentle on fabrics and tough on stains. Supreme and Tussel are our commercial grade products of choice and Persil Ultimate & Persil Sensitive are our trusted choices for household items. You can also supply your own products and if you do leave instructions in the notes field on your order form.
Double check you have emptied all your pockets. Express is not responsible for items lost in the wash or damage by things left in pockets. (Chapstick, jewelry, pens, crayons, nails, screws, markers, gum, tissues, ear pods etc).
Everything in your laundry bag gets washed and dried together. We don’t inspect care labels, so please make sure all items can be washed and dried in the same load unless you select the option to separate loads which incurs an extra cost of $10.
When you place your laundry service order, you agree and consent that everything in the bag is to being washed and dried together, (no pet items) unless you select Separate loads. We are not liable for any colour bleeds or damage due to the mixed fabrics.
You can specify washing and drying preferences (e.g. hot, warm or cold wash, high or low drying temperature) during online ordering. If no preferences are provided, we default to a cold wash and medium dry. You can select your laundry detergent and other extras.

Pickup and Delivery
Your pickup and drop-off location should be a safe secure area where you are comfortable leaving your items. Common locations include the front door, porch or inside a secure gated area. Please note we cannot enter homes, cars or garages. When you leave your items out for us, we’ll assume it’s ok to leave them in a similar spot when we deliver them back to you. If you’re not at home at the time of delivery we will take a photo of your items placed safely at your spot of choice as proof of delivery. We can also pickup and deliver to your workplace.
You can use a clean rubbish bag or any type of bag to put your dirty laundry in. Please do not send laundry baskets. We will bag your laundry in clean plastic bags. Your card is automatically charged upon delivery, and you can opt for a receipt to be emailed.
Be organised and have your laundry ready when we pickup. If you forget to leave your laundry out for us, we will text you to reschedule and you’ll be charged the pickup fee.
